The
image sequence below, with a cadence of approximately five minutes
between most exposures from 1st to 4th contact (rows 2 - 10), was
acquired with a Questar 3-1/2 inch telescope (f/14 back focus) and
Nikon D3000 camera at ISO 800. Exposure times increased during ingress
from 1/1000 s pre-eclipse (top row, approximately 1/2 hour before 1st
contact)
to 4s during totality, and was inverted on egress. UTC of
